D'licious Gourmet cookies had its humble beginnings simply by its founder's love of baking. Debra Rogers, owner and founder of D'licious Gourmet Cookies, began baking as a child - helping out her mother in the kitchen. While in college, Debra joined the military and continued her love of cooking. She became an excellent Culinary Specialist and food service facility manager at numerous commands. An excellent cook in all aspects, her true love was working with pastries. On the home front, her love of baking continued as the pride and pleasure she experienced by watching family and friends enjoy her D'licious cookies merely reinforced her devotion to this relaxing pastime. Consequently, D'licious Gourmet Cookies is a tasty, quality product rooted in family, pride and experience - and a true passion for baking.
During her years of baking, she was encouraged by family, friends, and associates to go into business. Her pastries were unique and more D'licious than anything they could find on the market. Taking the compliments in stride, she continued baking as usual - with a sense of accomplishment and pride as friends and family enjoyed them. Debra began taking orders locally, by word-of-mouth from family, friends, and associates. However, as word spread about her excellent product, solicitations for orders continually increased. Without advertising, eventually the number of orders increased beyond the capability to fill as a pastime, while maintaining a household and full time employment. Something had to be done!
Subsequently, a family meeting was held to discuss the feasibility and likelihood of going into business. Family responsibilities were discussed, a mission and vision was established, and with enthusiasm, D'licious Gourmet Cookies, LLC was launched. Our product is unique, delicious, and always baked with love. After all, baking is Debra's passion.
Debra and her husband are both active duty members of the military with nearly 40 years combined faithful service. Most evenings and weekends are dedicated to supporting the business, once Uncle Sam's duties and school homework is completed. With military retirement in sight, the family's vision is to expand the product line as their clientele continues to increase and demand for new gourmet products expands.
